WHAT WE DO

What Is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a regulated primary healthcare profession that specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. A chiropractor often uses a combination of manipulation, mobilisation and soft tissue techniques to treat a problem, as well as being able to put together comprehensive rehabilitation programmes to help patients reach long term goals.

If you're unsure whether chiropractic is the solution for your problem, please feel free to give us a call. We can tell you whether our clinic is the right place for you, or where to go if not.

What We Treat

Whether you’ve slept in an awkward position or suffered from whiplash, our chiropractors will be able to help you.

We usually use traction techniques to alleviate disc prolapses which can often cause sciatica. An accurate diagnosis is very important when treating this condition.

The most common problem we see in clinic. It is often lifestyle related and there are lots of different techniques that can be used to treat it.

Tension headaches can be one of the quickest problems to resolve with chiropractic care.

The hips are Alex’s favourite area of the body to treat. Both hip and knee issues are commonly associated with dysfunction of other structures in the lower limb.

Otherwise known as degenerative joint disease (DJD), we’ll all get a bit of it at some point but it doesn’t have to be painful.

From football to martial arts injuries, we see all sorts of sport related injuries in people of all ages!

Often very debilitating pain that can take a long time to resolve without the correct diagnosis and management plan.

With the right treatment and home exercises we’ll get you on the road to recovery.

Your First Visit

On your first visit, your chiropractor will take a comprehensive medical history and conduct a physical examination. This should give them all the information they need to make a specific diagnosis and then come to an appropriate treatment plan. Your first visit will also include treatment so that we can kick start your recovery as early as possible, this is included in the initial consultation price. However, sometimes it may be necessary to refer for scans or write to your GP before treatment can progress.
